The 3-Month Board Revision Blueprint

Many students study hard throughout the year but fail to get their desired percentage. The difference lies in how they revise in the final three months. A structured revision strategy doesn't just reinforce concepts; it builds the writing speed and muscle memory needed under exam conditions.

Here is the step-by-step breakdown of how we guide our students to plan their final months:

Phase 1: The Content Audit (Month 1) Before solving question papers, you need to know where you stand. Group all chapters in Math and Science into three buckets: 1. **Green (Strong):** You can solve problems with >90% accuracy. 2. **Yellow (Uncertain):** You understand the concept but make calculation errors or forget formulas. 3. **Red (Weak):** You struggle with the derivations or core theory.

Allocate 60% of your self-study time in the first month to shifting **Red** chapters to **Yellow**, and **Yellow** to **Green**. Do not ignore your strong zones—spend 40% of your time keeping them sharp with quick tests.

Phase 2: High-Weightage Chapters First Do not revise chapters in alphabetical or textbook order. Target topics that carry the maximum marks: * **Science:** Focus on Light Reflection/Refraction, Carbon & its Compounds, and Electricity. These three chapters account for nearly 40% of the Science paper marks. * **Mathematics:** Prioritize Trigonometry, Algebra (Quadratic Equations & AP), and Surface Areas & Volumes.

Phase 3: The 3-Hour Mock Routine (Month 2 & 3) Starting in Month 2, write one full-length board paper (80 marks) every Sunday from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM. * Do not take breaks. * Write in an environment with no phones or distractions. * **Why?** Writing for three hours straight requires mental stamina. Most students run out of time on Section E (long answers) because they don't pace themselves.

How to Analyze Your Mistakes After writing a test, don't just look at the score. Maintain a **Mistakes Logbook**. Categorize every lost mark: * **Silly Error:** Calculation error, copying the wrong sign. (Solution: Slow down during calculation, double-check variables). * **Concept Gap:** Didn't know how to start the derivation. (Solution: Go back to textbook theory). * **Time Pressure:** Left questions unattempted. (Solution: Practice section-wise timers).

By systematically eliminating errors in each mock test, our average student increases their score by 15-20% within 10 weeks.
